The ABB DS201 Residual Current Circuit Breaker with Overcurrent Protection (RCBO) is the essential compact solution for modern electrical installations, combining the functions of an MCB and an RCD in a single 1P+N device. This series guarantees the safety of people, facilities, and equipment by offering robust protection against overload and short-circuit currents, as well as the effects of sinusoidal alternating and direct pulsating earth fault currents.

The APR version provides an optimal trade-off between safety and continuity of service, offering higher resistance to unwanted tripping caused by external disturbances such as lightning surges or operational network noise. With a standard rated short-circuit breaking capacity of 6000A (6kA) and typical sensitivities like 30 mA for additional protection against direct contact, the DS201 is certified to IEC/EN 61009-1 standards.
