The VENAS EX-ZM Series Illumination Switched is a high-reliability, explosion-proof control device designed specifically for lighting applications in hazardous (classified) environments.
Constructed with an impact-resistant, copper-free aluminum enclosure and a plastic-sprayed surface, the EX-ZM switch is certified to be explosion proof, dust-tight, and water-tight, offering robust protection in the toughest industrial conditions.
This switch meets stringent global standards, including ATEX, IECEx, and UL1203555.
Its ratings include Class I, Division 1, Groups B, C, D and Ex db IIC T6 Gb6, making it suitable for environments with highly flammable gases and vapors.
The EX-ZM series is available in both Round (Type A) and Square (Type B) enclosures, and can be configured as an On/Off Switch (Type B) or a Two-way Control Switch (Type D)88.
Users can choose from 16A or 25A rated current versions. Designed for extreme temperatures, the switch maintains full functionality across a wide ambient range of -60°C to +60°C.
