The VENAS EX-CZ81 Series Explosion-Proof Plug and Socket provides a secure, reliable, and certified connection solution for electrical equipment in the most demanding hazardous locations.

This interlocked system is built with a rugged, copper-free aluminum explosion-proof plug and socket enclosure and finished with a plastic-sprayed surface, ensuring longevity and durability.

Its design strictly adheres to safety protocols: plugs can only be removed when the switch is in the “off” position, and power is only enabled after the plug is fully inserted.

The EX-CZ81 is fully certified for global hazardous zones, including Zone 1 and 2 (gas) and Zone 21 and 22 (dust).

Its markings, such as Ex db IIC T6 Gb and Ex tb IIIC T80ºC Db, confirm suitability for severe environments.

With a high degree of protection rated at IP66/IP67, the unit is dust-tight and protected against powerful water jets and immersion.

The series is available in 16A and 32A rated currents and accommodates a wide range of rated voltages, including 250V, 415V, and up to 690V}.
