The VITALITE VECK 1436 Emergency Conversion Kit is the versatile, indispensable module for seamlessly transforming standard fluorescent fixtures into compliant and reliable emergency luminaires. This universal kit is designed to work with an extensive range of fluorescent lighting, including T5 (14W-28W), T8 (18W-36W), and CFL 4 Pin (13W-26W) tubes.

Engineered for complete flexibility, the VECK 1436 supports both Maintained and Non-Maintained modes of operation, allowing it to be used across all emergency lighting applications. The unit is housed in a Low Profile EG Steel Casing to ensure easy, discreet installation within the existing fixture or ballast compartment. Installation is further simplified by the integrated Push-In Connector.

Powering the kit is a choice of NiCd batteries providing either a 2-hour duration (4.8V 2.5Ah) or an extended 3-hour duration (4.8V 4.5Ah) of crucial backup light. With a minimal power consumption of less than 7W and an IP20 rating , the VECK 1436 is a cost-effective, energy-efficient, and safety-compliant solution, tested to standards like IEC 61347.
