The VENAS EX-CZ81 Series Explosion-Proof Plug and Socket system provides a heavy-duty, certified power connection solution for the most demanding hazardous area environments.
Available in current ratings from 16A up to a robust 125A , the EX-CZ81 is designed to handle high-power applications across a comprehensive range of voltages up to AC 690V.
Its superior safety is reflected in its certifications for both gas and dust explosive atmospheres, including ATEX and IECEx.
It is engineered for installation in Gas Zones 1 & 2 and Dust Zones 21 & 22 , with flameproof protection Ex db IIC T6 and dust ignition-proof protection Ex tb IIIC T80°C.
Constructed with a rugged copper-free aluminum explosion-proof enclosure and a plastic-sprayed surface, this system offers exceptional corrosion resistance and durability.
The IP66/IP67 ingress protection ensures it is completely sealed against dust and immersion in water.
A vital safety interlocking mechanism guarantees that power can only be turned on after inserting the plug and can only be removed after the switch is turned off, preventing dangerous arcs and sparks in a volatile atmosphere.
The VENAS EX-CZ81 ensures reliable and safe electrical connectivity from an extreme operating range of -60°C to +55°C.
