Description

ABB Residential Current Breaker Over Current Protection (RCBO) DS201T 6000 Ay type, K characteristics – Excellent Optimal Safety & Service Continuity for Residential & Industrial

The ABB DS201 and DS201T RCBO series offers the highest standard of combined electrical safety in a single, compact unit, protecting end-user single-phase circuits against overload, short-circuit, and lethal earth fault currents.

With a consistent high-rated short-circuit capacity (Icn) of 6000 A (6kA), this range is certified to IEC/EN 61009-1.

The range provides superior residual current protection across three advanced types:

  • AC, which handles sinusoidal alternating currents;
  • A, which extends protection to include direct pulsating earth fault currents ; and the
  • APR Type, which offers an industry-leading compromise between safety and service continuity thanks to its enhanced resistance to unwanted tripping
  •  Protection against indirect contact is guaranteed, with the 30 mA variants providing additional protection against direct contact.

These 1+N and 1P+N pole devices are available with B, C, and K tripping characteristics to suit diverse load requirements, from residential and commercial installations (DS201) to highly demanding railway, rolling stock, and traction applications (DS201T)
