Description

ABB Residual Current Breaker Overcurrent (RCBO) DS201M 10000 Fy type, C characteristic – Excellent Inverter-Ready F Type Breaker

The ABB DS201 RCBO family is the definitive all-in-one safety solution, combining overcurrent (overload and short-circuit) and residual current (earth fault) protection for single-phase circuits. This versatile range includes the DS201 (6000A Icn) and the powerful DS201M (10000A Icn), ensuring robust protection for residential, commercial, and heavy-duty industrial installations.

The series offers four advanced levels of residual current detection:

  • AC Type: Standard protection against sinusoidal alternating earth faults.
  • A Type: Adds protection against direct pulsating earth fault currents from modern electronics.
  • APR Type: Provides anti-nuisance resistance to unwanted tripping, ensuring optimal service continuity.
  • F Type: Specifically suitable for circuits supplying single-phase inverters, meeting the latest standard IEC/EN 62423.

With B, C, and K tripping characteristics available, the DS201 range can be precisely matched to any load requirement. The specialized DS201T model is even certified for demanding railway and traction applications. All 30 mA models offer essential additional protection against direct human contact.
