Description

ABB Residual Current Breaker Overcurrent Protection (RCBO) DS201M 10000 AC w type, B characteristic – Excellent Type Earth Leakage Protection

The ABB DS201, DS201T, and DS201M series delivers comprehensive all-in-one protection for end-user single-phase circuits against overload, short-circuit, and dangerous earth fault currents.

This versatile family is compliant with the IEC/EN 61009-1 standard and covers a wide range of short-circuit capacities, from the 6000A (Icn=6kA) of the DS201 and DS201T models up to the powerful 10000A (Icn=10kA) in the DS201M variant.

The range provides superior residual current protection across three advanced types:

  • AC, which handles sinusoidal alternating currents;
  • A, which also detects direct pulsating earth fault currents ; and the advanced
  • APR Type (Anti-Nuisance), engineered for optimal service continuity by offering enhanced resistance to unwanted tripping.

Available in 1+N or 1P+N pole configurations , the RCBOs feature B, C, and K tripping characteristics to suit diverse residential, commercial, and industrial installations. Specialized DS201T models are also available for demanding railway, rolling stock, and traction applications. All 30 mA devices provide essential additional protection against direct contact.
