The ABB DS201 RCBO A/APR Type series provides an all-in-one solution for superior circuit protection in single-phase systems.

These Residual Current Operated Circuit Breakers with Overcurrent Protection protect against overload and short-circuit currents, as well as dangerous earth fault currents.

The advanced A and APR types are engineered to detect both sinusoidal alternating and direct pulsating earth fault currents, ensuring robust safety across more complex loads.

Specifically, the APR type offers an optimal balance between safety and service continuity thanks to its enhanced resistance to unwanted tripping. Protection against indirect contact and additional protection against direct contact is standard with IΔn=30 mA variants.

With a high rated short-circuit capacity (Icn) of 6000 A and available rated currents (In) up to 40 A, the DS201 RCBOs are built to the IEC/EN 61009-1 standard.

The versatile DS201 series (1+N pole configuration) is perfectly suited for general residential, commercial, and industrial applications. For extremely demanding environments, the specialized DS201T variant (1P+N pole configuration) is engineered for use in railway, rolling stock, and traction systems.

Choose from B or C tripping characteristics and residual current sensitivities of 30 mA, 100 mA, or 300 mA to match your specific installation requirements.
